<p>Acclaimed actor and comedian Garry Shandling died March 24 at the age of 66. A Los Angeles Police Department spokesperson told EW Thursday that Shandling suffered a medical emergency and was transported to a local hospital in L.A. before his death. Known for his work on <em>The Larry Sanders Show</em>, the late star won an Emmy for Outstanding Writing for the HBO show, and also picked up multiple Golden Globe and additional Emmy nominations. Shandling worked as a writer, director, producer, and actor during his illustrious career, making big-screen appearances in <em>Town & Country</em>, <em>Zoolander</em>, and <em>Iron Man 2</em>.
